Who we are

The Thursday List is a free weekly email of local kids' activities for families in the Tri-Valley (Livermore, Pleasanton, Dublin and nearby). You can reach us anytime at hello@thethursdaylist.com.

What we collect

• Your email address — when you subscribe.
• Any preferences you share — for example your child's age range or your town, if we ask, so we can make the list more relevant to you.
• Basic usage data — like which links get clicked and whether emails are opened, plus general website analytics (see “Analytics & cookies” below). This is aggregate and helps us make the newsletter better.

Why we collect it

Only to run the newsletter: to send you the weekly email, to tailor the picks to your family, and to understand what's useful so we can improve. Nothing else.

What we don't do

We don't sell, rent, or trade your email or personal information to anyone. We don't share it with advertisers. If we ever feature a local sponsor, they get exposure in the newsletter — they never get your details.

Analytics & cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website (pages viewed, general location, device type). Google Analytics sets cookies and processes this data on our behalf; it helps us see what's working, in aggregate. You can opt out using Google's browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. Our email tool also records opens and link clicks to help us improve the newsletter.

The tools we use

We rely on a few trusted services to operate — an email platform to store subscriptions and send the newsletter, and website analytics. These providers handle data on our behalf under their own privacy terms, and only for the purpose of running The Thursday List.

Children's privacy

The Thursday List is written for parents and caregivers. We collect information from adults who subscribe — not from children. We don't knowingly collect any personal information from children.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe anytime — every email has a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom.
• Ask us anything — email hello@thethursdaylist.com to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and revise the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll let subscribers know by email.
